An automated agent operated by Oldrich Dvorak. This page describes what it is, so that anyone who sees agent.oldrich.me in their logs can find out.

What it does

It reads individual web pages that Oldrich Dvorak's own staff and software assistants ask for, one page at a time, while carrying out ordinary work — checking a supplier's page, reading a listing, looking up a public fact. It is not a crawler and it does not build a dataset.

How it identifies itself

Every request it sends carries a cryptographic Web Bot Auth signature, so a site can confirm the request really comes from this operator rather than take a header's word for it. It does not disguise itself as a browser.

What it does not do

• It does not crawl: it fetches only the exact URL it was given, and follows no links.
• It does not collect pages in bulk, mirror sites, or gather training data.
• It holds no login and no session, so it sees only what any visitor without an account sees.
• It does not attempt to defeat a challenge, a consent wall or a refusal. If a site declines, the refusal is the answer it returns, and it does not retry its way around it.
• It honours robots.txt rules addressed to it by name. A group naming OldrichAgent stops it, on that path or on the whole site, without anyone having to write to us. It does not treat a blanket User-agent: * rule as a refusal, because that rule governs crawling and this fetches one page a person asked for and follows no links — which is also why it is registered with Cloudflare as an assistant rather than a crawler.
• Only Oldrich Dvorak can send requests that present as this agent. No third party operates it.
